- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Java applications and RESTful APIs.
- Provide support and assist architects on design end-to-end scalable solutions across backend services, databases, and API integrations.
- Define technical standards, coding best practices, and development workflows.
- Provide technical leadership to developers and participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of all applications and services.
- Lead the migration or modernization of monolithic applications to microservices architecture where applicable.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Java, APIs, and cloud platforms. Key Skills:
- Minimum 12 years of strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write performance optimized code, well-structured code by applying OOPS concepts and common design patterns.
- Experience with API Gateway, OAuth2, JWT, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (Preferred) is a strong plus.
- Experience in application monitoring tools e.g. Splunk, New Relic, Grafana.
- Knowledge of Python & Data science concepts is a value addition.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Apache Cloud SOLR (Optional).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptable to changing business and technology needs. Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
