Key Responsibilities 1. Grounds & Landscape Management
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of factory landscaping, lawns, and ornamental plant areas.
- Plan and execute seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control schedules to ensure the facility remains visually appealing and professional.
- Manage irrigation and drainage systems, ensuring optimal water usage and resource efficiency. 2. Agricultural & Nursery Operations
- Manage on-site crop, greenhouse, or nursery production if applicable to the factory's sustainability or commercial goals.
- Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies and organic or safe chemical practices to treat diseases and insect infestations.
- Monitor soil health, conduct testing, and apply necessary fertilizers to maximize plant health and yield. 3. Team Leadership & Administration
- Supervise, train, and schedule daily duties for gardening and agricultural workers.
- Monitor staff attendance, evaluate performance, and resolve any workplace grievances.
- Procure necessary supplies (seeds, fertilisers, tools) while operating within the established departmental budget.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and submit regular progress reports to senior factory management. 4. Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure all horticultural and agricultural activities strictly comply with local environmental regulations and factory safety standards.
- Enforce the proper use of protective equipment (PPE) when handling gardening tools, machinery, and fertilizers. Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in landscape management, plant nursery operations, or commercial agriculture.
- Skills: Strong understanding of soil science, plant propagation, and pest control.
- Leadership: Excellent team management, scheduling, and communication skills. Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month Perks:
