In this role you will be partnering with cross functional teams across Apple. You will work closely with our business leaders and other partners to implement new solutions. The candidate must be able to work independently, understand the needs and build the solutions for sophisticated architecture and comfortable working under pressure at times.Responsibilities Architecting and developing cloud services : you will design, implement, and own new cloud services. Ensuring high availability and scalability : systems you design must be reliable, resilient, and can handle load without failure. Understand requirements, engage with team members, cross-functional teams and project managers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work requiredCollaborate with, mentor, and influence members within your team and across other teams at Apple Deliver solutions that can keep up with a rapidly evolving product in a timely fashion Review technical designs and perform code review Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise grade solutionsMinimum 5 years of extensive hands-on experience with Golang Hands-on with architecture, design, development and deployment of enterprise systems in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) Experience in rolling out distributed, large-scale, low latency web applications with REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologiesExperience crafting and architecting distributed systems, concurrent programming, and coding data structures Excellent debugging skills Good understanding of containerization and container orchestration with docker and kubernetes Experience designing ecosystems for Web applications&API Platforms Understand security concepts and build reliable and safe distributed applications Experience with leading and mentoring Engineers Ability to successfully multi-task and support multiple, concurrent projects Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with DevSecOps fundamentals - CI/CD pipelines, continuous monitoringFamiliarity with Ruby, Java, Python At Apple, we believe accessibility is a fundamental human right.
