Job description Job Role : Power BI Engineer +5 years Location : Hyderabad We are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable dashboards, data models, and insight-driven reports. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, and be comfortable working closely with business stakeholders.Key Skills Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, RLS, Power BI Service, Dashboard Development, Reporting, Analytics Roles&Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query Work with large datasets from multiple sources such as SQL, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms Ensure report performance, data accuracy, and security (Row Level Security RLS)Translate business requirements into effective analytical and reporting solutions Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business teams Perform data validation, testing, deployment, and documentation Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Power BI development Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data ModelingAdvanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning) Good understanding of data warehousing concepts Hands-on experience with Power BI Service , gateways, and scheduled refresh Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
