Mechanical Design Engineer– Mold Design&SolidWorks, Raniganj

Overview: We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mold design and SolidWorks for a product development and manufacturing environment. The role requires someone actively involved in design work, not purely managerial or review-based. Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Mechanical DesignStrong hands-on experience in Mold Design (Injection Mold / Plastic Components / Tooling) Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory Experience in plastic part design, DFM/DFA, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing drawings Hands-on involvement in current role is required Experience working with tooling vendors, mold trials, and manufacturability improvements Ability to independently handle 3D modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs Experience with sheet metal, fixtures, jigs, or electromechanical assemblies is an added advantageMedical device industry experience is preferred Responsibilities: Design and develop plastic and mechanical components for manufacturing Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and production drawings in SolidWorks Work closely with tooling vendors and manufacturing teams during mold development and trialsPerform DFM/DFA reviews and support product optimization Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production release Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements Preferred : Medical device / precision engineering background Experience with Moldflow, tooling validation, or injection molding processesDiploma in Tool&Die / Mechanical Engineering background is a plus
