SAP Basis Administrator - S/4 HANA Module, Raniganj

Description Key Responsibilities : Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP products. Perform system monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Manage SAP transports, client administration, and system refresh activities.Execute SAP upgrades, patches, and kernel updates with minimal downtime. Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability. Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations in coordination with security teams. Perform database administration tasks (backup, recovery, space management) for SAP systems.Work closely with functional and technical teams to support SAP applications. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements. Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures. Provide on-call support and resolve production issues within defined Skills and Qualifications :Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 to 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system landscapes, and transport management. Hands-on experience with SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations. Familiarity with SAP HANA and database administration concepts.Experience with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database systems (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server). Understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration. Ability to analyze system logs, dumps, and performance metrics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and stakeholder management Qualifications :SAP Basis or SAP HANA certification. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) hosting SAP systems. Exposure to automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.). Knowledge of Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
