The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, along with hands-on experience using industry-standard editing tools.Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital platforms (social media, websites, ads, etc.) Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and designers to understand project requirements Trim footage, add music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling goalsHandle color correction, audio balancing, and basic motion graphics Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Stay updated with video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific formats Organize and maintain video assets and project files Required Skills&Qualifications 2+ years of professional video editing experience Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , Adobe After Effects (or similar) Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and transitionsBasic motion graphics and animation skills Good sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications Experience editing for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or ads Understanding of SEO and video optimization (for digital platforms)Experience with green screen editing and visual effects Key Competencies Creativity and storytelling Attention to detail Time management Adaptability to feedback Strong communication skills
