Description We are seeking an experienced GCP Database Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing databases on Google Cloud Platform. This role involves designing scalable database solutions, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with development teams to support application requirements.Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable databases in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with development teams to support application and data requirements. Monitor and maintain database health, including backups and recovery processes. Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures and procedures. Skills and Qualifications 8-13 years of experience in database engineering or related field.Proficient in Google Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and other GCP database services. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with database migration and integration tools. Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Understanding of database security best practices.Ability to work with various programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
