Sr. Technical Marketing Manager, Raniganj

THE ROLE: The person in the role of Technical Marketing Manager for AMD-AECG is an adaptable and self-motivated individual who drives Vivado and next generation tool product roadmap to best serve customer needs. This person is responsible for feature specification, planning, validation, documentation, early training materials and key customer support. Technical Marketing works closely with product planning, R&D, applications engineering and top tier customers to improve the FPGA and Adaptive SoC design process and enable the next generation of designs and methodologies. The environment is fast moving, global and focused on emerging technologies. THE PERSON: The successful Technical Marketing Manager has a critical role in defining, planning and supporting the boot and configuration of AMD FPGA, Zynq and Adaptive SoC products. This includes advanced IP configuration, low level boot firmware, bit stream delivery, runtime system management, interaction with application processors, and next generation tool roadmap definition. This person understands customer needs and pain points. The ability to juggle competing priorities is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define best in class development flows, features, and methodologies for AMD FPGA, Zynq and Adaptive SoC tools and libraries. Collaborate with engineering, sales, planning and customers to drive tool features. Provide technical expertise to the field and customers through the creation of training materials, tutorials, and user guides.Communication of complex subjects to field and customers, making options, tradeoffs, and impacts clear. Evaluate field and customer feedback, identify key areas for new features/changes, and work with planning and engineering to fix. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Excellent knowledge of standard SoC boot methods and system management schemesWorking knowledge of the entire FPGA design process and tool flow. Expertise in system on chip development. Familiarity with Arm application and real time processors. Familiarity with common SoC bootloaders such as TI X-Loader, U-Boot SPL, AMD (Xilinx) FSBL/PLM, or similar Ability to analyze and solve complex system level issues, internally and with top tier customers.Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
