Senior Database Engineer, Raniganj

Our client is a global technology change and delivery organization in the banking area, comprising nearly 500 individuals located in Switzerland, Poland, Singapore and India. Providing global records and document processing, archiving, and retrieval solutions to all business divisions focusing on supporting Legal, Regulatory, and Operational functions.Responsibilities: Oversee the services provided by the Application Delivery team. Lead the development of the Proof-of-Concept solutions. Provide technical expertise in the development of application software, ensuring appropriate security and risk factors are considered. Lead Business Analysts and Developers to design and develop software components, including integration with 3rd party solutions.Collaborate closely with the Service&Product Managers, Architects and Project Managers to align development efforts with strategic goals. Oversee the third-level support to investigate and fix production problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions. Manage the relation with our near and offshore delivery teams.Take pride in the quality of delivered software products and services (this is what drives you). Skills Must have: Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles; Expertise in Oracle technologies, particularly in database management, performance tuning, and PL/SQL development; Strong Scripting skills in Bash/Perl programming, enabling automation and process optimization;Good to have experience in Application/DB migration and programming knowledge on DB2/MSSQL databases; English C1 level. Nice to have: Experience with IBM CMOD (Content Manager OnDemand) or strong willingness to learn, as it is a key component in our archiving infrastructure; Knowledge of event-based retention policies within Spectrum Protect.
