Insurance Manager, Raniganj

Onni Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Manager to oversee our commercial insurance programs. This role will manage property and liability coverage across Onni Group's extensive real estate portfolio and construction operations in Canada and the U.S. The Insurance Manager will lead insurance strategy, oversee renewals and claims, and work closely with internal teams, brokers, and adjusters to ensure proper coverage, compliance, and risk mitigation. This is a critical role supporting acquisitions, developments, and capital projects across regions.Key Responsibilities Insurance Program Management Lead strategy across property, liability, builder's risk, and environmental lines. Manage policy renewals, pricing negotiations, compliance, and coverage alignment. Ensure insurance requirements are met for acquisitions, developments, and capital projects.Claims&Risk Management Oversee the full claims lifecycle from reporting through resolution. Partner with internal stakeholders, brokers, and adjusters to reduce losses. Implement risk management strategies and best practices to mitigate exposure. Coordination&Reporting Maintain accurate insurance tracking and documentation. Provide reporting and analysis on claims, premiums, and coverage gaps. Advise leadership on insurance market changes and their business impacts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in construction insurance and real estate insurance. Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Hands-on experience in insurance tracking and claims management. Knowledge of both Canadian and U.S. insurance markets preferred.
