He/She should be able to work under Sr. Operator/Power Engineer and follow instructions on day-to-day issues.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working on Halcyon monitoring console and identifying/fixing issues possible at this level or escalate to seniors. Handling and escalating tickets within SLA and engaging correct support groups for any high priority incidents. Monitor BRMS backups, iCluster and Maxava replication sets.Monitor system health and escalate potential risks to seniors. Work under supervision of Power system engineer. QUALIFICATIONS&REQUIREMENTS: Must have Power system basic and IBMi OS beginner level knowledge. Operating Halcyon monitoring console. Review QSYSOPR message queue and determine cause of message waits Basic understanding of BRMS and Replication software iCluster or Maxava. Review work with problem entries and differentiate software and hardware issues.Should understand ITSM delivery concepts. Passionate about customer service. Ability/willingness to work 24*7 rotation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
