As Lead Copywriter , you'll own creative and strategic direction for copy across our client portfolio, lead the copy team, set QC standards and processes, manage escalations, and work closely with Business Development, Performance Marketing, Design, and Production to shape pitches and deliver campaigns that convert.What You'll Be Doing: Lead and mentor the copy team, providing coaching, feedback, and career development. Define and maintain brand voice and tone guidelines for clients, ensuring consistency across channels. Set up and manage copy QC mechanisms and standards (style guides, checklists, review workflows, and KPIs).Oversee content strategy and creative direction across platforms: social, ads, email, landing pages, video scripts, long-form content, and more. Review and sign-off on high-impact copy to ensure clarity, conversion focus, and brand fit. Handle copy-related escalations and problem-solve with stakeholders to maintain delivery and quality.Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Design, Video, and Cinematography teams to craft integrated campaigns. Partner with Business Development to craft persuasive pitch copy, narratives, and creative decks for new client opportunities. Use data and post-campaign insights to refine messaging and improve performance across accounts.Drive innovation by introducing new content formats, frameworks, and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate. What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in digital/creative/advertising agencies, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (team lead, senior copy lead, or equivalent). A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, cross-channel storytelling, and measurable campaign outcomes.Exceptional command of brand voice, messaging frameworks, and persuasive writing for performance goals. Experience building and enforcing quality-control processes and editorial standards. Comfortable managing escalations and balancing multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Proven experience collaborating on pitches and supporting BD with compelling creative narratives.Data-informed mindset: ability to interpret campaign metrics and iterate on messaging. AI-friendly: experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity is a plus. Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field (advanced degree is a bonus).
