- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and current guidelines.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology through continuous career development and participation in clinical audits.
- Provide patient education on heart health, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in MD in General Medicine or DNB in Internal Medicine (or equivalent).
- Completion of a recognized residency or internship in Internal Medicine with a focus on cardiology.
- Hands-on training and proficiency in echocardiography, TMT, Holter monitoring, cardiac catheterization, angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology, diagnostic criteria, and treatment protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure clinical environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical documentation.
- Valid medical license and registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency cardiac interventions as required.
