Annual CTC: ₹3.60 LPA to ₹4.80 LPA, depending on experience and final assessment
Role Summary
Minchy’s is looking for a capable and disciplined Senior Accountant to lead the accounts function and supervise a team of three accountants. The role requires strong command over TallyPrime, GST, TDS, inventory accounting, financial reporting, debtor-creditor control, audit preparation, and MIS reporting.
The candidate will be responsible not only for maintaining accurate accounts but also for improving financial discipline across the company by providing explicit, timely, and helpful information to senior management for better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Daily Work Management
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the daily work of the accounts team. This includes allocating tasks to junior accountants, setting daily and weekly deadlines, reviewing pending work, ensuring timely completion of entries, and maintaining accountability within the team.
The candidate must regularly check the work done by junior accountants and data entry operators, identify mistakes, correct errors, and ensure that entries are accurate, complete, and properly supported by documents.
Accounting and Bookkeeping
The candidate will oversee complete accounting in TallyPrime, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, debit notes, credit notes, production entries, expenses, loans, advances, GST, TDS, and statutory ledgers.
The role will also include ensuring proper ledger classification, monthly closing of accounts, reconciliation of accounts, and maintaining clean books for management review and audit purposes.
Financial Reporting and MIS
