We’re Hiring: Assistant Restaurant Manager ???? Location: Kampala, Uganda ???? Employment Type: Full-time / Contract ???? Salary: USD 1,000 – 1,200 per month (based on experience) ???? Benefits: Fully furnished accommodation + Local transport + Local allowance + Free air ticket to India once every 2 years (fully paid) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a standalone restaurant/café operation. The ideal candidate should have robust leadership abilities, excellent customer service skills, and extensive experience managing restaurant or coffee shop operations within a 5-star hotel environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, ambience, and customer satisfaction
- Supervise floor operations and staff performance
- Plan and coordinate staff shifts for smooth operations during peak hours
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently
- Prepare daily sales and food control reports
- Train and supervise front-end restaurant staff
- Ensure adherence to company grooming and uniform standards
- Maximize sales and profitability through excellent guest service
- Maintain restaurant security and operational standards
- Conduct shift checklists and operational audits
- Coordinate with chefs, supervisors, baristas, controllers, and storekeepers Requirements ✔ Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Hotel Management ✔ 10+ years of experience in Restaurant / Coffee Shop operations within a 5-star hotel ✔ Minimum 3 years of managerial experience ✔ Age: 28 – 32 years preferred ✔ Strong leadership and communication skills ✔ Excellent command of English ✔ Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-focused ✔ Proven track record in previous assignments Reporting To Operations Manager Team Handling Branch Chefs, F&B; Supervisors, Head Baristas, Controllers & Store Keepers Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4nard1
