Back End Developer, Shivamogga

Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-performance, production-grade systems built on microservice architecture. This is a remote role requiring strong ownership, technical depth, and clear communication across cross-functional teams.Core Responsibilities•     Architect and develop scalable microservices using Python and FastAPI •     Design and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and reliability •     Write and optimize complex SQL queries; develop execution plans for PostgreSQL and MySQL•     Implement asynchronous programming patterns for high-throughput systems •     Integrate event streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka •     Manage caching layers and session strategies using Redis •     Work with AWS services including S3 and SQS for cloud-nativeintegrations•     Build real-time communication features using Socket.io •     Develop backend services leveraging the Firebase Admin SDK •     Uphold production system reliability through monitoring, logging, and incident response Requirements •     5+ years of professionalPython development experience•     Demonstrated expertise with FastAPI in production environments •     Deep understanding of microservice design patterns and distributed systems •     Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MySQL — including query optimization and indexing strategies •     Solid grasp ofasynchronous programming (asyncio, async/await)•     Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures •     Hands-on experience with Redis caching and data structures •     Familiarity with AWS services: S3, SQS, and related tooling •     Experience with Socket.io for real-time, bidirectional communication •     Proficiency with Firebase Admin SDK for backend integration•     Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming principles •     Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable production code What We're Looking For •     A self-starter who takes ownership and delivers without hand-holding •     Someone who communicates technical trade-offs clearly and early•     A fast learner who keeps pace with evolving technologies and adapts accordingly •     A collaborative engineer who thrives in asynchronous, remote-first environments
