- Infoblox SME – Must have strong experience in DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
- Riverbed experience is strongly required Detailed JD We are seeking an experienced Infoblox SME responsible for managing and maintaining Infoblox network services including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI). The candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and securing Infoblox appliances to ensure network reliability, availability, and security. Roles & Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Infoblox appliances, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to maintain optimal network functionality
- Implement and manage security policies to protect network infrastructure
- Perform regular upgrades, updates, and patching of Infoblox appliances to ensure systems are up to date with the latest features and security enhancements
- Perform backup and restore activities for Infoblox environments
- Monitor security events and respond to threats proactively
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues within defined SLAs
- Document issues, resolutions, configurations, procedures, and operational changes
- Generate reports related to network performance and security
- Collaborate with network engineers, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations and stability
- Provide Level 3 support and participate in ONCALL rotation for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents, ensuring real-time issue resolution for production environments
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues
- Support IP address management and DNS services across enterprise environments Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox products such as NIOS
- Robust understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols
- Proficiency with command-line interfaces and scripting languages
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches
- Infoblox Certified Network Administrator certification preferred Secondary Skills
- Monitor and manage Network Support for LAN infrastructure, including DHCP, DNS, WINS, VLANs, QoS, NAC, Wireless LANs, Load Balancers, IP Address Management, and Network Segmentation
- Perform troubleshooting activities to maintain LAN availability
- Work on routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, and switching protocols including STP and RSTP as part of implementation and operational activities
