Senior Design Executive Howrah

◆ Design and develop ductile iron cast components for municipal, infrastructure, and OEM applications.

◆ Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly designs using SolidWorks, PTC Creo and other CAD software.

◆ Ensure designs meet functional, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements.

◆ Optimize designs for casting feasibility, weight reduction, and cost efficiency.

◆ Collaborate with customers for design inputs, approvals, and modifications.

◆ Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical proposals.

◆ Develop tooling concepts, gating & risering layouts (in co-ordination with NPD team).

◆ Ensure design suitability for moulding processes (green sand / no-bake / automated lines).

◆ Work closely with simulation teams for metal flow and solidi-fication analysis.

◆ Address casting defects through design improvements and root cause analysis.

◆ Lead and mentor a team of design engineers and drafts-men.

◆ Allocate tasks, monitor prog-ress, and ensure timely project delivery.
