IT Infrastructure Manager (Bissau)

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee, maintain, and improve the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional experience managing networks, servers, and enterprise IT environments, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of all technical operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity
- Oversee hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Enforce IT policies, standards, and security protocols
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers
- Lead and support IT support staff and technical teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration roles
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
- Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Robust problem-solving and leadership skills
