Field Worker (Matigara)

Job Description – Field Worker Industry: Tea & Agricultural Development Location: Preferably North Bengal About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and field-oriented candidates to support agricultural awareness and farmer engagement activities at the grassroots level. The Field Worker will be responsible for conducting farmer interactions, awareness campaigns, surveys, and supporting project implementation activities in assigned field areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field visits and interact regularly with small farmers and STGs.
- Support awareness campaigns related to sustainable agriculture and pesticide reduction initiatives.
- Organize farmer meetings, awareness drives, and survey activities.
- Collect and maintain field data, attendance records, and project-related documentation.
- Submit regular field reports and updates to the reporting manager.
- Assist in implementation and monitoring of agricultural development programs.
- Coordinate with local communities and stakeholders for smooth field execution.
- Ensure timely reporting through mobile/manual data collection systems. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field-level agricultural or community-based projects.
- Experience in awareness campaigns or rural engagement programs preferred.
- Ability to work effectively at the grassroots level.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of field reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned field locations.
- Candidates from North Bengal will be preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience working with tea gardens, STGs, or rural agricultural communities.
- Energetic, disciplined, and field-oriented approach.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with farming communities. Pay: ₹15,000.00
