- Proofreader Location Siliguri West Bengal On-site Job Type Contractual About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team in Siliguri The role involves reviewing and editing written content to ensure accuracy clarity and consistency The Proofreader will work closely with the content and editorial teams to maintain high-quality standards in all publications Key Responsibilities 1 Review and proofread content for grammar spelling punctuation and formatting errors 2 Ensure consistency in style tone and language across documents 3 Check factual accuracy references and adherence to guidelines 4 Collaborate with writers editors and designers to deliver error-free content 5 Suggest improvements for clarity and readability 6 Meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail Requirements 1 Bachelor s degree in any stream 2 Proven experience as a proofreader editor or similar role 3 Excellent command of Bengali knowledge of English Hindi is must 4 Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly 5 Positive understanding of publishing standards and formatting styles 6 Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Preferred Skills 1 Experience in academic educational content proofreading 2 Familiarity with MS Office Google Docs and editing tools 3 Knowledge of regional language proofreading Bengali is must 4 Laptop must be preferred Job Type Contractual Temporary Contract length 12 months Pay 15 000 00
