Purchase & Procurement Engineer – Power Sector Location: Kolkata Corporate Office Experience: 8+ Years Industry: Power / Infrastructure / EPC Job Summary We are seeking an experienced procurement skilled from the Power Sector who can efficiently manage sourcing, vendor coordination, procurement planning, and commercial negotiations for electrical and project-related materials. The candidate should possess solid technical and commercial understanding with the ability to work in a rapid-paced EPC setting.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs) 1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for electrical and power sector materials. Source vendors, obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize procurement within timelines. 2.

Vendor

Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and pricing. Cost Optimization & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings. Ensure procurement is aligned with project budgets and company policies. Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams for procurement planning and material dispatch. Maintain procurement records, PO tracking, comparison statements, and MIS reports. Compliance & Delivery Monitoring
