Construction Supervisor (Siliguri)

Role Description The Civil Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role requires effective management of labour, subcontractors, materials, and site activities while maintaining regular communication with the project management team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in civil construction projects and be capable of independently managing site execution, workforce coordination, material planning, and progress reporting. Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in civil construction site supervision
- Experience in government construction projects preferred
- Robust understanding of RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing works, drainage, road works, and other civil construction activities
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong labour and subcontractor management skills
- Experience in material planning, procurement coordination, and stock monitoring
- Ability to maintain site records and daily progress reports
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work at project sites across North East India Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Manage labour teams, subcontractors, and site resources efficiently
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules to achieve project targets
- Coordinate material requirements and verify material receipts at site
- Monitor site progress and report updates to management regularly
- Identify and resolve site-related issues to avoid delays
- Maintain daily site records, labour reports, and photographic progress updates
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety practices on site
- Assist during inspections by clients, consultants, and government authorities
- Coordinate with management regarding project requirements, site challenges, and resource planning Location Project-based across North East India Salary ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and capability) Benefits
