Profile - Production Incharge / HOD (Melting Process)

Qualification - B.Tech - Mechanical, Metallurgy

Salary - Upto 9 LAC ( including food + accommodation)

Experience - Min. 10+yrs. in Metal Melting Process in metal, foundry, casting industry.

Location -Silvassa , Gujarat (Vedanta Plant)

Job Description

Company safety standards implementation.

Ensure the availability of the equipment as per the production plan / Business plan.

Skill & Knowledge of Standards / SOPs / KPIs.

Leading & Co-ordinating Business partner functional areas.

Managing entire Site of Copper Silvassa Plant & smoothly handling all the issues of the site.

Should have strong business acumen and ability to engage effectively with Company senior leadership & build relationship.

Should have experience of Managing Plant Operation and Maintenance activities of Non-ferrous Plant. Should have deep understanding of critical plant equipment and should drive for higher OEE of Furnace, Cell House, PMB Refineries, Melting and Casting equipment.

Should demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

Has the ability to coach and challenge site management on HSE practices.

Able to handle a team of 500+manpower and motivate towards the goal of production KPIs (QCDIP) as per the given Business Plan.

Should have sound understanding of HR policies and rules and regulations w.r.t payroll, manpower management, Optimization of Manpower etc.

Should have knowledge of Asset Optimization and should be capable of driving improvement initiatives.

Should have the ability to drive implementation/change management initiatives.

Should be able to connect, coordinate and share on time MIS with Company HO.

Should be able to manage the activities as per the given budgets and should work for Cost Consciousness.
