The expanded facility has a state Of the art brand new Centrifugal, Static Casting, and Shell Molding manufacturing plant with Machining, Fabrication and all kinds of finishing and testing facilities to give fully machined products to its customers in ready to fit condition.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Steel Industry Works Manager (Machine Shop) to join our team. As the Works Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the machine shop operations within the steel industry. This is a full-time executive position with a minimum of 10 years of experience required. The work location will be in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the steel industry
• Strong knowledge of machine shop operations and processes
• Proven track record of effectively managing a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations within the steel industry
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Manage and oversee all machine shop operations within the steel industry
• Direct and coordinate the activities of machine shop personnel
• Ensure the production of high-quality steel components and products within set timelines
• Implement and monitor safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Optimize machine shop processes to improve productivity and efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and waste management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects
• Train and mentor machine shop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Regularly track and report on machine shop performance and key metrics
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements
