Job Title: Toolroom Designer (Plastic Injection Moulding) Location: Tembhi Umbergoan Department: Tool Room Contact HR Rajal : 8335855748 or HR Abha : 8655913602 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Toolroom Designer with expertise in plastic injection mould design and hands-on experience in Siemens NX. The candidate will be responsible for designing high-quality moulds, ensuring manufacturability, and coordinating with production and toolroom teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Design plastic injection moulds using Siemens NX (CAD/CAM) software.
- Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailing of mould components.
- Perform mould flow analysis and feasibility checks before final design release.
- Prepare BOM and coordinate with toolroom for machining and assembly.
- Modify and optimize existing mould designs based on production feedback.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth mould trials.
- Maintain design documentation and revision records. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 3–8 years of experience in plastic injection mould design.
- Strong command of Siemens NX (3D modelling, drafting, assembly).
- Knowledge of mould structure, hot runner systems, cooling layouts, and ejection systems.
- Understanding of tool steel materials and machining processes.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automotive / consumer plastic components.
- Knowledge of mould trial process and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of CAM operations. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00
