FyneHand is mandated to hire for the position of Chief Financial Officer Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing space , is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to be based in Silvassa. The CFO will be responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, driving profitability, and supporting business growth.The role also oversees cross-functional areas including Purchase, Stores, EXIM, and Dispatch, ensuring operational and financial efficiency across the value chain. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Leadership&Strategy Lead all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls Drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. Implement ERP systems and strengthen financial processes Ensure regulatory compliance, governance, and risk mitigation. Enhance shareholder value and manage stakeholder communication2. Functional Leadership a) Purchase&Stores Oversee procurement strategy and inventory management Ensure cost efficiency and optimal stock control systems b) EXIM (Export-Import) Supervise import/export operations and documentation Ensure compliance with international trade regulations c) Dispatch Oversee dispatch and logistics operationsEnsure timely and accurate delivery aligned with business commitments Key Accountabilities: Financial Operations Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts Oversee all transactions including sales, purchases, banking, and cash flow. Manage fund flow, treasury, and working capital efficientlyMIS&Reporting Ensure timely preparation of monthly MIS by the 5th of every month Provide insights on financial performance and business trends Taxation&Compliance Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliances Handle audits (internal, statutory, tax, cost) within defined timelines.Manage scrutiny, assessments, and regulatory filings Banking&Finance Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions Prepare CMA data, projections, and funding proposals. Handle LCs, buyer's credit, and optimize banking costs Internal Controls&Risk Management Establish and strengthen internal control systems Identify risks and ensure corrective actions. Working Capital Management Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conduct debtor/creditor analysis and reconciliations Inventory&Cost Control Implement inventory control systems and conduct periodic stock audits Perform cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability tracking Monitor scrap and loss analysis for operational efficiency Secretarial&Governance Ensure compliance with Companies Act and corporate governance norms Manage board meetings, AGM, and statutory documentation Mergers, Acquisitions&Fund Raising Lead M&A activities including due diligence and valuation Develop and execute fund-raising strategies. Build relationships with investors and financial stakeholders CSR&Other Financial Oversight Review CSR and individual/HUF accounting periodically Approve payments and financial system workflows Ideal Candidate Education&Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)– Mandatory Additional qualifications such as MBA (Finance) will be an advantage Experience : 15–20+ years of progressive experience in Finance&Accounts Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role (CFO / Finance Head) Experience in manufacturing / pharma / polymer / export-oriented industries preferred Strong exposure to banking, taxation, compliance, and fund raising Key Competencies: Financial Acumen&Strategic Thinking Leadership&Team Management Risk Management&Governance Strong Analytical&Decision-Making Skills Mergers&Acquisitions Expertise Fund Raising&Investor Relations Effective Communication&Stakeholder Management Personality Traits: Demonstrates executive maturity with a clear understanding of hierarchy, protocol, and professional boundaries Anticipates priorities and risks; maintains composure under pressure Detail-oriented while aligning with broader business objectives.Exercises sound judgment in decision-making, escalation, and resolutionStructured, organized, and execution-focused with strong networking and influencing skills High integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion Additional Requirements: Professional presentation and conduct suitable for board-level interactions Willingness to relocate to Silvassa, Dadra&Nagar Haveli Location: Silvassa Client details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.
