Description
Interested candidates, kindly mail to Job Purpose Support the development and management of conventional reservoirs through reservoir engineering studies, reservoir surveillance, simulation modeling, reserves estimation, and production optimization. The role focuses on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery, improving reservoir performance, and providing technical inputs for field development planning and asset management. Job Accountabilities
• Perform numerical reservoir simulation and dynamic reservoir modeling studies to support reservoir management and field development planning.
- Plan, supervise, and interpret MDT/DST operations, PVT sampling, core data acquisition, and reservoir engineering studies.
- Coordinate and supervise RCA, SCAL, PVT, PTA, well testing, and production data analysis (PDA) activities, ensuring quality control of all acquired data.
- Prepare, validate, and maintain reservoir engineering datasets for use in field development planning and subsurface evaluations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Geology, Geophysics, Drilling, Production, and Facilities to support reservoir management activities and well performance monitoring.
- Participate in technical reviews and JV meetings, providing reservoir engineering inputs and representing company interests on technical matters.
- Monitor reservoir performance through surveillance programs, identify data gaps, and recommend improvements in data acquisition and monitoring strategies.
- Determine key reservoir engineering and geoscience factors influencing recovery factor, well count, production profiles, and field development strategies.
- Quantify reservoir uncertainties using appropriate risk assessment and decision analysis techniques.
- Analyze well testing and flowback data to estimate reservoir parameters and evaluate reservoir performance.
- Perform reserves estimation and evaluate well and reservoir performance for conventional and unconventional reservoirs, including coal-bed methane reservoirs where applicable.
- Recommend production enhancement opportunities through recompletions, infill drilling, stimulation programs, injection optimization, and other reservoir management initiatives.
- Develop short-term and long-term production forecasts, reserve estimates, and reservoir management plans.
- Continuously monitor reservoir performance and recommend corrective actions to address deviations from production and recovery targets.
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies including Material Balance, PTA/RTA, Nodal Analysis, and Integrated Asset Modeling (IAM).
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of production forecasts, reservoir characterization studies, simulation models, and subsurface evaluations.
- Deliver assigned projects within approved cost, schedule, quality, HSE, and technical requirements. Education Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline. Experience Required
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Reservoir Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry. Functional Competencies
• Proficiency in reservoir engineering software such as Prosper, MBAL, PVTsim, Eclipse, IMEX, OFM, Ecrin, and PanSystem.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to reservoir performance evaluation and optimization.
- Experience in reservoir simulation, reserves estimation, production forecasting, and field development planning.
- Hands-on experience in RCA, SCAL, PVT, PTA, well testing, and production data analysis.
- Ability to handle special reservoir studies and integrated subsurface projects.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Interested candidates, kindly mail to Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n6evb
