Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Product Software Engineering to join our expanding technology team. This role focuses on leading cross‑functional teams of developers in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑performance web applications across .NET, Angular, PHP, and SQL stacks. The Manager will engage in strategy, execution, and technical decision‑making, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a culture of best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and grow cross‑functional teams of software engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development of web applications using .NET, Angular, PHP, and SQL.
- Define and execute product engineering strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product management, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and reliability through sound engineering practices.
- Drive adoption of modern development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, unit tests, code reviews, and best practices.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery commitments.
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 12+ years of progressive software development experience, including deep hands‑on expertise in .NET, Angular, PHP, and SQL.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience, including at least 2 years in managerial capacity leading cross‑functional or multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
- Experience building and maintaining secure, high‑performance web applications.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Solid problem‑solving skills and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to application monitoring and performance tuning.
- Experience in a product‑driven or SaaS environment.
