Purchase Officer (Verna)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities and support day-to-day purchasing operations for engineering and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle purchase activities for engineering and production materials
- Identify and develop new vendors and maintain vendor database
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, delivery, and payment terms
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO)
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality departments
- Maintain purchase records, documentation, and reports
- Ensure material availability as per production requirements
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel preferred
- Understanding of industrial raw materials, fabrication items, and engineering components Required Skills:
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Robust analytical and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of vendor management and procurement process
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 documentation preferred Qualification:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related stream
