We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Stores for a Greenfield Solar Cell Manufacturing Project in Gujarat. Location: Sevni, Gujarat (Initial posting at Surat Office) Department: Projects Reporting To: Director – Projects & Operations About the Role We are looking for an experienced Stores & Warehouse professional to manage end-to-end material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP compliance for a large-scale solar cell manufacturing facility. This is an excellent chance to work on a high-impact Greenfield manufacturing project and help build robust warehouse systems and processes from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Manage stores & warehouse operations including material receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch Maintain inventory accuracy for raw materials, consumables, spares, and finished goods Ensure GRN, inward/outward entries, and ERP/SAP compliance Implement FIFO / FEFO and shelf-life management practices Coordinate with procurement, production, planning, and logistics teams Conduct stock verification, cycle counting, and reconciliation activities Ensure warehouse safety, 5S, and EHS compliance Support warehouse layout planning and storage optimization during plant setup and commissioning Prepare MIS reports, stock aging analysis, and inventory reports for management Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering 7–8 years of experience in solar, semiconductor, electronics, or process manufacturing industries Strong experience in stores, warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP/SAP systems Knowledge of handling sensitive and high-value materials such as wafers, chemicals, gases, metallization pastes, and consumables Exposure to Capex material handling and project-stage manufacturing setups preferred Six Sigma exposure will be an added advantage Key Skills Inventory Management Warehouse Operations ERP / SAP FIFO / FEFO Stock Audit & Documentation Material Traceability Logistics Coordination Stakeholder Management Join us in building the future of solar manufacturing in India.
