Position: Research Associate
- In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays Location: Vapi, Gujarat Experience: 2-4 Years Company: Nuvo Labs Pvt. Ltd. (Meril Life Sciences Group) About the Role Nuvo Labs Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated research associate to support in vitro screening and functional characterization of therapeutic antibodies and drug molecules. The candidate will contribute to high-throughput screening, cell based functional assays, and biochemical characterization to support antibody discovery and lead candidate selection in drug discovery programs. Key Responsibilities In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays
• Design and execute high-throughput and medium-throughput screening assays for monoclonal and bispecific antibodies.
- Develop and perform cell-based functional assays, including:
- Receptor binding and signaling assays
• Reporter assays
• Cytokine release assays
• Immune cell activation assays
• ADCC / ADCP assays Antibody Characterization Perform binding and affinity characterization using techniques such as:
- ELISA
• Flow Cytometry
• Other biochemical and immunological assays Drug Discovery Support
• Screen antibody and drug molecule panels to support lead candidate identification and selection.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare scientific reports to support internal research programs. Required Technical Skills Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in:
- Mammalian cell culture techniques
• Biochemical assays, including:
- Western Blotting
• Immunoprecipitation
• Molecular biology techniques, including:
- RNA processing
• qPCR
• ddPCR
• Cloning Preferred Qualifications
• M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
• Experience working in antibody discovery, immunology, or drug discovery laboratories
• Familiarity with flow cytometry and functional immune assays is highly desirable. Key Competencies
