Electrical Design Engineer (Surat)

Job Title: Design Engineer We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and timely project drawings while ensuring effective communication with clients and efficient management of project data and documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop project drawings for control panels, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings and wiring diagrams, within established project timelines.
- Plan and execute design activities strategically to minimize revisions and optimize project efficiency.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and estimate material requirements based on approved drawings.
- Submit final approved drawings and design documentation to customers within the required timeframe.
- Manage and organize client drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
- Utilize design and documentation software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel effectively. Key Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and EPLAN for electrical and control panel design.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and control panel design practices.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate engineering drawings.
- Effective client management skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and professional email communication.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in control panel design, drafting, and electrical engineering projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN or similar electrical design software.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
