Job Title: Database Engineer Notice Period
- Immediate to 30 days Location: Vadodara Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Database Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, implement, and maintain robust database systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, and data security, along with hands-on experience in managing large-scale databases. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance database systems
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and monitoring
- Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient data models
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure high availability
- Implement data integrity and validation processes
- Automate routine database tasks and maintenance
- Support data migration, integration, and ETL processes
- Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Engineer/Administrator
- Strong experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Knowledge of database security practices and compliance
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL)
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
- Experience with version control systems like Git Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in database technologies (Oracle, Microsoft, AWS) Soft Skills:
