Logistics Manager (Gujarat)

Role & responsibilities
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
- Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues Preferred candidate profile
- Experience Range: 12-15 Years
- SAP module for material movement, production, WIP, Finance, Spare and inventory Management
- Knowledge of the Excise process, shipping process & documents required for Export, import, fare rate & trade, customs duties
- Latest technologies used for packaging and transportation
- Knowledge of legal legislation
