Description
Purpose/Objective Security Automation Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security automation systems across various sites, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with security protocols. The role focuses on coordinating with vendors, assisting in troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of security automation tools to enhance overall security operations. The Security Automation Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth integration and functioning of automated security solutions in alignment with organizational standards and objectives. Key Responsibilities of Role Security Automation Implementation: Assist in the deployment of security automation solutions across designated sites in line with established project plans and timelines. Collaborate with the Lead
- Security Automation to carry out routine system checks and ensure the proper functioning of automation technologies at Sites. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely installation, testing, and commissioning of security automation tools, including CCTV systems, biometric access controls, and other digital surveillance solutions. System Monitoring and Data Management: Monitor automated security systems to detect malfunctions, analyze alerts, and generate real-time reports for review by Lead Security Automation- Security. Manage data collected from automated systems, ensuring proper storage, security, and compliance with organizational data privacy policies. Report any anomalies, suspicious activities, or system performance issues to the Lead
- Security Automation and suggest immediate corrective actions. Optimization and Troubleshooting: Carry out scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activities on all installed automation systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Assist in optimizing system performance by identifying areas for technological upgrades or system fine-tuning. Compliance and Safety Protocols: Ensure all automation processes comply with regulatory standards, internal security protocols, and safety guidelines. Participate in internal and external audits related to security automation to maintain compliance across all sites. Vendor Coordination and Budget Management Support: Assist in managing relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and timely submission & payments of invoices. Support the Lead
- Security Automation in monitoring budget allocations for security automation projects and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Training and Capacity Building: Assist in training on-site security teams and operational staff in the usage and troubleshooting of automation systems with collobration of Group Security Automation. Maintain documentation of training programs and ensure that newly deployed staff are up to date on current automation processes. Key Stakeholders

- External: Security Automation Vendors Technology Solution Providers Consultants and System Integrators Government and Regulatory Bodies External Auditors and Inspectors Technical Competencies Budget Management-AGEL,Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM)-AGEL,ISCR Operations (Information Security & Cyber Risk)-AGEL,Intelligence and Vigilance-AGEL,Security Administration-AGEL,Security Control Room Operations Management (Traffic, CCTV Feed, SOCR)-AGEL,Security Infra Planning, Design, and Integration-AGEL,Systems & Technology Management-AGEL,Training, Learning and Development-AGEL Qualifications and Experience Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Security Management, or a related field. Certifications in security systems, automation technologies, or cyber security (e. g. , Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are advantageous. Solid technical foundation in automation, digital security infrastructure, and IoT-based security solutions. Work Experience: 7-8 years of experience in managing security systems and automation projects. Proven experience in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing security automation technologies such as CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), and other integrated security systems.
