- 1) Education Qualification :
- B.E. Chemical / Mechanical / Food Technology
- 2) Experience :
- 4 to 8 years of experience in process engineering within design, consultancy, or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with process design in bulk material handling, pneumatic conveying, liquid handling, and batch/continuous process systems such as chocolate manufacturing, FMCG or spices processing.
- 3) Job Knowledge :
- Experience in one or more of the following functions of an organization engaged in the design, consultancy and/or manufacturing of equipment/process systems catering to Clients in Food/Beverages/FMCG/ Chemical industries.
- Proposal Engineering
- Pre-Sales Engineering
- Project Sales
- Technical Sales
- 4) Job Skills :
- Preparation of equipment specifications and techno-commercial proposal/bidding documents for bulk material handling systems, ingredients management systems, raw material handling systems, pneumatic conveying systems, liquid handling systems, other continuous/batch process systems such as grinding, sieving, batching, mixing, systems etc. for clients in Food/Beverages/Dairy/FMCG/ Chemical industries.
- Comprehending the P&IDs;, PFDs of the above-mentioned systems and preparing the proposal documents based on the same.
- Attitude (Personal Traits) :
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Team-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic project requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- 6) Job Purpose :
- To provide process engineering expertise by developing accurate process documentation, collaborating with clients, and supporting project execution for bulk material handling and related systems.
- 7) Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Communication with Clients to understand their requirements.
- Preparation of equipment specifications and techno-commercial proposal documents based on Client’s requirements and P&IDs;/PFDs.
- Ensuring that the documents to be submitted to the Clients are presentable, confirming to standards, accurate and meets Client’s requirements.
- Co-ordination with other functions within the organization to compile the estimation of each individual components in the proposal and to collect sufficient information required to prepare the proposal documents.
- Maintain the records of information, estimations and pricing for future reference and analysis.
- Transfer of information collected from Clients during the pre-sales stage discussions to other functions once the enquiry is converted to order.
- Accuracy and completeness of process documentation.
- Timeliness and quality of support during start-up and commissioning.
- Effectiveness in client interaction and requirement understanding.
- Ability to manage information flow between pre-sales and execution stages.
- Technical competency in process calculations and design.
- 8) Reports :
- Process design documents including P&IDs;, PFDs, specifications, and schedules.
- Start-up and commissioning support reports.
- Client communication and deviation logs.
