Production Manager PEB/ Prefab Structural Steel (Gujarat)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Production Manager for PEB & Prefabricated Structural Steel projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing complete production activities including planning, fabrication, welding, assembly, manpower handling, quality control, and dispatch coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete production operations of PEB and structural steel fabrication.
- Plan daily, weekly and monthly production schedules as per project requirements.
- Supervise fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, drilling, fitting, and assembly.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timeline and quality standards.
- Handle shop floor manpower including fabricators, welders, fitters, helpers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and Tekla/AutoCAD drawings.
- Monitor raw material utilization and reduce production wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Design, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure safety standards and proper housekeeping in the factory.
- Maintain production reports, machine maintenance records, and daily progress reports.
- Ensure proper use of machines like CNC cutting, welding machines, drilling machines, and EOT cranes. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PEB and structural steel fabrication.
- Knowledge of welding standards and fabrication quality checks.
- Ability to handle production planning and manpower management.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Tekla drawings.
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of factory safety procedures and production documentation. Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with solid practical fabrication experience can also apply. Preferred Experience
