Mechanical Design Engineer (Gujarat)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our team The ideal candidate will play a key role in the development and design of orthopedic implants and instruments This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that address the needs of surgeons and patients Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers surgeons and product managers to conceptualize design and develop new orthopedic implants and instruments Utilize CAD software e g SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of orthopedic implants and instruments Generate prototypes and mock-ups for evaluation and testing incorporating feedback to refine designs and optimize performance Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth transition from design to production addressing any technical challenges and optimizing processes for efficiency and quality Stay up-to-date on industry advancements emerging technologies and regulatory requirements to inform design decisions and maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations Qualifications Bachelor s degree or Masters in Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering or related field Proven experience 3 years in product design preferably within the medical device or Engineering or orthopedic industry Proficiency in Solidworks CAD software and other design tools Strong understanding of mechanical principles materials and manufacturing processes relevant to orthopedic implants and instruments Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present ideas clearly and persuasively Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and problem-solving Familiarity with regulatory requirements e g FDA ISO for medical devices is a plus Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00
