Embedded Systems Engineer Gujarat

Role & responsibilities:

Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware using C/C++ for ESP32-based platforms. Develop and integrate drivers using SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO interfaces. Implement communication protocols such as Modbus (RTU/TCP), TCP/IP, UDP, and MQTT. Work on Wi-Fi and network-based communication for device-to-device and device-to-cloud systems. Perform board bring-up, firmware testing, and hardwaresoftware integration. Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define system requirements. Debug issues using serial debuggers, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers. Maintain technical documentation including firmware architecture and APIs. Support production, testing, and field issue resolution.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, or related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development. Robust proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems. Hands-on experience with ESP32 microcontroller and ESP-IDF or Arduino framework. Robust understanding of SPI, I2C, UART communication protocols. Practical experience with Modbus, TCP/IP, UDP, and MQTT. Understanding of RTOS concepts (FreeRTOS preferred). Experience in firmware debugging and hardware interfacing.
