As we launch our new website, we are looking for a highly skilled 3D Artist to bring our digital storefront to life. The Role We are looking for a talented 3D Artist & Photo Retoucher who specializes in KeyShot and Adobe Photoshop. In this role, you will be the bridge between our jewelry designers and our customers. You will take raw CAD models and transform them into breathtaking, photorealistic 360-degree renders for our product pages. Additionally, you will seamlessly composite our jewelry onto photographs of models so our customers know exactly how the pieces look and fit in real life. Key Responsibilities 3D Rendering: Import CAD models from our jewelry design team and use KeyShot to create high-quality, photorealistic still images and 360-degree rotational renders. Lighting & Texturing: Expertly apply materials (gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones) and lighting environments to ensure the renders look indistinguishable from real photography. Lifestyle Compositing: Use Adobe Photoshop to expertly edit and composite 3D jewelry renders onto photographs of human models, ensuring accurate scale, shadowing, and skin tones. Quality Assurance: Ensure all visual assets are optimized for web performance while maintaining the high-end aesthetic of the Calavera New York brand. Collaboration: Work closely with our remote design and e-commerce teams to deliver assets on schedule for website launches and marketing campaigns. Qualifications & Skills Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in KeyShot and Adobe Photoshop . Jewelry Experience: Proven experience rendering jewelry. You must understand how light interacts with precious metals and faceted gemstones. CAD Familiarity: Comfortable handling and preparing 3D CAD files (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, or similar jewelry software) for the rendering pipeline. Photomanipulation: Advanced retouching, masking, and compositing skills in Photoshop to blend digital renders with real-life photography flawlessly. Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for scale, lighting, reflection, and shadow. Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating photorealistic product renders and successful digital compositing (jewelry examples are highly preferred). Why Join Calavera New York?
