Objective of Role To ensure effective implementation, inspection, and compliance of fire and life safety systems across GIFT City buildings by conducting regular inspections, training, incident investigations, and coordination with stakeholders in accordance with fire safety regulations and NBC standards. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and operational readiness to safeguard life, property, and infrastructure within GIFT City. Position type -on contract for a period 3 years from the date of joining, extendable based on organization needs and candidates performance. Pay Band
- In the pay-scale of Rs.29,200-92,300 as per 7th CPC Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering / BSc from any AICTE recognized Institution with specialization in Fire Engineering. Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Role Descriptions
- Report to Sr. Manager
- Fire and Life safety Inspections.
- Coordinate with building owners, developers, and other stakeholders to address fire safety concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that fire safety standards are met during construction, fit outs and post occupancy.
- Coordinate fire and life safety inspections in various buildings within GIFT City.
- Verify that buildings comply with all fire protection, prevention, and life safety measures, and fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency exits, and other safety systems are functional and properly maintained.
- Conduct regular follow-up inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Communicate with the chief fire officer and other team members regarding inspection findings and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, compliance status, and recommended actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all fire and life safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Conduct periodic mock drill in coordination with concern internal & external support agencies.
- To conduct incident investigating & ensure CAPA to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain statistics, analyze trends, propose and take remedial action where necessary.
- Conduct fire safety training sessions for building occupants, staff etc.
- Raise awareness about fire safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Provide training on the proper use and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance expertise in fire safety inspections. Competencies Required
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and the National Building Code (NBC)
- Proficiency in conducting fire and life safety inspections of highrise buildings.
- Proficiency in firefighting techniques, equipment usage, and emergency response protocols.
- Valuable experience on operation & maintenance of Fire protection system.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
