Safety Officer (Gujarat)

Responsibility 1-Ensure Workplace Safety-Monitor daily plant activities to ensure all safety rules are followed. Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts on the shop floor 2-Implement Safety Policies & Procedures-Develop and enforce safety guidelines as per company policy and legal requirements. 3-Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment-Carryout risk assessment of processes. 4-Training & Awareness-Conduct safety training programs for employees and current joiners. 5-Accident Investigation & Reporting-Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents. 6-PPE Management (Personal Protective Equipment)- Ensure all workers use proper PPE (helmet, gloves, shoes, etc.). 7-ISO-14001 implementation-Perform activity within the timeline. Accountability 1-Zero Accident Responsibility-Accountable for reducing and preventing (Injury, accident and near misses) 2-Hazard Identification & Control-Identification of hazard on shop floor. 3-Implementation of Safety Systems-PPE enforcement,5s,Fire and Traffic 4-Accident Investigation & Closure-Responsible for root cause analysis. 5-Safety Audit & Reporting-Conduct regular audit as per the frequency decided. 6-Developing Safety Culture-Drive new initiative to improve safety culture. HIRA, OHSAS / ISO 14001 standards, Fire safety norms, Why-why analaysi,Fish Bone/RCA, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW) system, Chemical handling and MSDS usage,PPE Management,5’s , Welding hazards (spatter, fumes), Identify unsafe act and condition.
