Job Description Project Manager (Turnkey Projects) Position: Project Manager – Very Large Scale Turnkey Projects (VLSP) Location : PAN India (Site Based) Qualification: Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience:
- 10–12 years of experience in execution of very large-scale turnkey projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Monitoring & Control oriented organizations.
- Hands-on experience in handling complete project lifecycle from commencement to final handover.
- Experience in managing project timelines of 8–10 months for VLSP sites. Key Responsibilities: 1. Overall responsible for execution and timely completion of turnkey projects as per approved Master Project Plan. 2. Verification of civil foundations and site readiness as per approved drawings prior to mobilization. 3. Conduct kick-off meetings with client representatives to finalize execution scope, schedules, milestones, and contractual deliverables. 4. Preparation and monitoring of Master Project Plan in ERP Project Module. 5. Verification of execution BOQ in line with approved drawings to ensure timely material delivery and site readiness. 6. Planning and mobilization of site execution teams and resources. 7. Assigning explicit roles and responsibilities to project site personnel. 8. Finalization and appointment of contractors/sub-contractors within approved budget and project scope. 9. Ensure commencement and execution of project activities as per planned schedule. 10. Daily monitoring and coordination with site teams to ensure smooth execution and achievement of project targets. Daily review of task sheets and progress status. 11. Generation and closure of NC/ECR for technical deviations, corrective actions, and engineering solutions. 12. Verification of material reconciliation prepared by site stores and ensuring proper ERP project module entries. 13. Preparation and monitoring of monthly payment collection plans and coordination with clients for timely collections. 14. Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards, drawings, safety, and quality requirements. 15. Verification and certification of contractor invoices as per PO terms and conditions and ensuring timely payment processing. 16. Ensure adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and statutory regulations. 17. Monitor project execution costs, identify cost optimization opportunities, and maintain budgetary control. 18. Maintain complete and accurate project documentation including progress reports, technical records, change orders, reconciliation statements, and closure documents. 19.
