Role & responsibilities

Desired Skills

Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures

Knowledge of PTW systems, risk assessment & emergency response

Experience handling shop-floor or manufacturing safety activities

Ability to ensure compliance with statutory HSE standards

Major Responsibilities

Conduct workplace safety audits and hazard identification

Monitor critical operations such as hot work, lifting, electrical jobs & confined space activities

Ensure PPE compliance and safe work practices across the facility

Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency preparedness drills

Review and authorize PTW documentation before execution of jobs

Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions

Coordinate with production teams to maintain a zero-incident work culture

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Background: B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering (Any Stream) AND a mandatory Advance/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in heavy industries.
