️ Key Skills (Mandatory) BIW (Body-in-White) Robotic Simulation Experience in automotive manufacturing processes Hands-on experience with: Fanuc Motoman KUKA ABB Robots Robust knowledge of layout optimization Expertise in robotic manufacturing process simulations Job Responsibilities Perform robotic simulation activities for automotive BIW manufacturing processes Develop and optimize robotic layouts and work cells Prepare robot paths, weld spot distribution, and tool validation Support fixture, tooling, and weld gun kinematics activities Conduct cycle time analysis and optimization Prepare manufacturing simulations for: Spot welding Riveting Adhesive & sealing Stud welding Material handling Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams for process validation and optimization Prepare documentation and support offline programming activities ⚙️ Technical Expertise Required Hands-on experience with: DELMIA V5 3DX (preferred) Knowledge of: RCS (Robot Controller Simulation) OLP (Offline Programming) Cycle time optimization Understanding of: Fixture & tool kinematics Weld gun finalization Robotic work cell preparation Preferred Skills Experience in: Arc welding Hemming Clinching Laser welding Screwing operations Exposure to tool/equipment/mock-up preparation for manufacturing processes Soft Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong teamwork and coordination abilities Flexible mindset with ability to manage complex project requirements Role Summary The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for BIW robotic simulation, layout optimization, and robotic manufacturing process validation for automotive projects using DELMIA V5 and related robotic simulation tools.
