Accountant (Taliparamba)

Job Title: Accountant Location: Taliparamba, Kannur Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring smooth and compliant financial processes within the organization. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Pass journal entries and adjusting entries accurately. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Handle banking transactions and coordinate with financial institutions. Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance. Manage and file TDS returns and ensure timely deductions and payments. Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for the organization. Collaborate with management to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, Income tax and GST Laws Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and ITR filing. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar). Positive understanding of taxation laws and compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's /Master's degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field. Semi-CA/Semi- CMA Qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Odoo, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
