Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret coronary angiography and conduct primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in acute coronary syndrome cases.

Insert temporary and permanent cardiac pacemakers, including device programming and follow-up management.

Administer thrombolysis in accordance with clinical guidelines for acute myocardial infarction.

Provide immediate and effective emergency cardiac care, including management of arrhythmias, heart failure, and cardiogenic shock.

Conduct pericardial tapping (pericardiocentesis) for the diagnosis and treatment of pericardial effusion and cardiac tamponade.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ICU, radiology, and cardiac surgery, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and participate in regular case reviews and audits.

Engage in on-call duties for emergency cardiac interventions and acute cardiac events.

Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to clinical training and continuous career development initiatives.

Stay current with advancements in cardiology through research, conferences, and skilled certifications.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with MD/DM in Cardiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).

Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting.

Proven proficiency in coronary angiography and primary PCI with documented case volume.

Hands-on experience in temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion and management.

Demonstrated competence in thrombolysis administration and emergency cardiac care protocols.

Experience in performing pericardial tapping with ultrasound guidance is highly desirable.
