Financial Accountant (Assam)

Company Description About Us: Our group operates across food processing and commercial leasing businesses. Shiromani Food Products is engaged in rice milling, grading, and sorting activities, while Livenza and Paripurna manage commercial rental and leasing operations. We are looking for an experienced accountant to manage accounts, taxation, and compliance functions across all group entities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Accountant based in Guwahati. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, GST matters, income tax related work, bookkeeping, and compliance activities for multiple group entities. The role includes handling entries in Tally ERP, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, coordinating taxation and statutory requirements, and supporting overall back-office operations. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing accounts across both operational and rental businesses. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Prior experience in accounting and taxation work is mandatory
• Proficiency in Tally ERP
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Knowledge of GST matters and Income Tax related work
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage accounts and compliance for multiple entities Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting Solid Analytical Skills and expertise in Finance Experience with Accounting Software and related tools Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Understanding of financial compliance and regulations Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus) Prior experience in a similar role is preferred Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4mmfsn
